Josephine and Louise and Michelle and Montez

I made these when I was into covering everything in felt and making long ropes. I met a neat gal, Michelle Shelton when we were in the last throes of life in Ann Arbor. She had these fantastic Braids, it was a new thing back then and I wanted them too. My hair just wouldn't do it so I made mine out of felt. The other was just a project in Portland Oregon, I covered a copper pipe, left over from ice machine hookup for our Fridge and handmade felt balls. Here's a close up of my first Label.. it's kinda sorry looking.

I updated some photos for "Quills and Spills"

I love the quirkyness of some of your designs, I think they're loads of fun. The braids remind me of the decoration you put on your big bonnet, and I think they're wonderful and would look great on someone with very short hair.

The felt ball copper tube hat is out of this world and simply great!

Talking about labels, you should look at my first labels too (somewhere in my blog!). How are your labels now? I think I will make new ones with the same company that La Bricoleuse used. Her labels look wonderful and they're cotton (I think that mine are now polyester, which is not as nice).

I admire you for finding the strength to create wonderful things no matter what life is throwing at you.

Cristina your words are much appreciated! We don't have a label right now, I'm just pulling stuff out and blocking at this point!
